Pinar Selek

Pinar Selek is a Turkish writer and activist. She was born in 1976 in Istanbul, Turkey. Selek has written extensively on politics and social issues, and has been a vocal critic of the Turkish government. She has been in exile in France since 2000, after being sentenced to prison for her activism. Selek has written several books and has been recognized for her work as a human rights advocate.
