Plaxico Burress is a former NFL wide receiver who played for the New York Giants. He is best known for his touchdown catch in Super Bowl XLII, which helped the Giants defeat the New England Patriots. Burress played college football at Miami and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2000 NFL Draft. He played for the Steelers from 2000 to 2006 and then played for the Giants from 2007 to 2011. Burress is also a motivational speaker and has written a book about his experiences playing in the NFL.
