Preston Lauterbach

Preston Lauterbach is an American author and historian. He is best known for his book Beale Street Dynasty: Sex, Song, and the Struggle for the Soul of Memphis, which explores the history of Beale Street and its significance in American culture. Lauterbach has also written for various publications, including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. He is a professor of history at the University of Memphis.
