Prince Salim

Prince Salim, also known as Emperor Jahangir, was the third Mughal Emperor of India. He was born in 1569 and ascended to the throne in 1605 after the death of his father, Akbar. Jahangir was known for his love of nature and his interest in the natural world. He was also known for his brutal suppression of his son, who rebelled against him. Jahangir died in 1627 and was succeeded by his son, Shah Jahan.
