Prof. Ephraim Kanarfogel

Ephraim Kanarfogel is a professor of Hebrew and Jewish Studies at Columbia University. He received his PhD from Harvard University and has written extensively on Jewish history and culture. Kanarfogel is a leading expert on the medieval Jewish community in Europe and has taught at several universities, including Harvard and Yale. He is currently the director of the Institute for Jewish Research at Columbia University. Kanarfogel has received several awards for his scholarship, including the National Jewish Book Award.
