Prof. Joseph Skloot

Joseph Skloot is a professor of history and Jewish studies at the University of Michigan. He is a historian of Jewish history and culture, with a particular focus on the history of Jewish thought and practice. Skloot has written extensively on topics such as Jewish mysticism, Jewish history, and the history of Jewish thought. He is the author of several books, including “The Men Who Stare at Goats” and “The Soul of an Octopus”. Skloot has also taught at several universities, including Harvard and Yale.
