Quentin Crisp was a British actor, writer, and artist. He was a prominent figure in the 1950s and 1960s, known for his flamboyant style and his advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights. Crisp was a prolific writer and published several books, including 'The Naked Civil Servant' and 'More Naked Civil Servants'. He was also a talented artist and designed several sets and costumes for theater productions. Crisp was a close friend of Oscar Wilde and was a major influence on the development of the LGBTQ+ community. He died in 1999 at the age of 90.
