R.J. Rushdoony

R.J. Rushdoony was an American Christian theologian, pastor, and author. He was a prominent figure in the Christian Reconstructionist movement. Rushdoony was born on July 10, 1937, in Los Angeles, California. He earned his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Southern California. Rushdoony was a prolific writer and published numerous books on theology, politics, and culture. He was a pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, California. Rushdoony was a strong advocate for Christian Reconstructionism, a movement that seeks to apply biblical principles to modern society. He was a vocal critic of secular humanism and modernism. Rushdoony died on February 10, 2001, at the age of 63.
