Rafael Higual

Rafael Higual is a Syrian-American journalist and author who has written extensively on the conflict in Syria. He has reported from the country and has interviewed numerous high-ranking officials, including President Bashar al-Assad. Higual has also written for several publications, including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. He is the author of several books on the Middle East, including "The Syrian Uprising: A History". Higual is based in Washington, D.C.
