Ralph Abernathy

Ralph Abernathy was an American Baptist minister and civil rights leader. He was a close associate of Martin Luther King Jr. and played a significant role in the civil rights movement. Abernathy was a prominent figure in the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and was a key leader in the Montgomery Bus Boycott. He was also a strong advocate for social justice and human rights. Abernathy was based in Atlanta, Georgia.
