Ratko Mladic
Former general and war criminal
Ratko Mladic is a former Bosnian Serb general and war criminal who was convicted of genocide and war crimes in 2017. He was a key figure in the Bosnian War, serving as the commander of the Bosnian Serb Army's Main Staff. Mladic was arrested in 2011 and extradited to The Hague, where he was tried by the International Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2017.
