Rav Yaakov Emden

Rabbi and kabbalist

Rav Yaakov Emden was a rabbi and kabbalist who lived in the 18th century. He was a prominent figure in the Jewish community in Prague and was known for his expertise in kabbalah. Emden was also a prolific writer and published several books on kabbalah and Jewish law. He is considered one of the most important kabbalists of the 18th century and his works continue to be studied by scholars today.
