Rav Yosef Karo

Rav Yosef Karo was a 16th-century rabbi and halakhist who is best known for his work on the Shulchan Aruch. He was a prominent figure in the Jewish community and is widely respected for his expertise in Jewish law. Karo was born in 1488 and died in 1575. He is considered one of the most important figures in Jewish history.
