Rebekah Brooks

Rebekah Brooks is a British journalist and former executive of News International. She was the chief executive of News International from 2009 to 2011 and was involved in the News International phone hacking scandal. Brooks has also worked as a journalist for The Sun and The Times of London. She was arrested in 2012 and charged with conspiracy to hack into mobile phones. Brooks was later acquitted of the charges. She has written a book about her experiences and has been a vocal advocate for press freedom.
