Professor of Jewish Studies and History
Schneidman Reinharz is a professor of Jewish studies and history at Brandeis University. He is a leading expert on Jewish history, culture, and philosophy. Reinharz has written extensively on topics such as Jewish identity, Zionism, and the intersection of Jewish and modern thought. He is also a prominent public intellectual and has been a vocal advocate for Jewish rights and social justice. Reinharz has received numerous awards for his scholarship and teaching, including the National Jewish Book Award. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a member of the American Historical Association. Reinharz has also served as a visiting professor at several universities around the world, including Harvard, Yale, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
