René O'Connor is a Canadian actress and comedian. She is best known for her role as Gabrielle in the TV series Xena: Warrior Princess. O'Connor has also appeared in various other TV shows and films, including The Simpsons and The Good Witch. She has been nominated for several awards for her acting, including a Canadian Screen Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role. O'Connor has also been involved in various charity work, including supporting the Canadian Cancer Society. She has been married to actor Paul Gross since 2001 and they have two children together.
