Rene Vienet

Rene Vienet was a French philosopher and writer who was a key figure in the Situationist movement. He was a close friend and collaborator of Guy Debord, and was involved in various artistic and activist projects. Vienet was known for his writings on politics and culture, and was a strong advocate for the use of detournement as a means of challenging dominant ideologies. He passed away in 2009.
