Rep. Debbie Dingell

Debbie Dingell is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Michigan's 12th congressional district since 2015. She is a member of the Democratic Party and has been a strong advocate for healthcare and social justice. Dingell is the first woman to represent Michigan's 12th congressional district and the first African American woman to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives. She is also a strong supporter of LGBTQ+ rights and has been a vocal critic of the Trump administration's policies. Dingell has received numerous awards for her work, including the National Organization for Women's (NOW) Champion for Women's Rights award. She has also been recognized for her efforts to increase access to healthcare for low-income families and individuals with disabilities.
