Reza Shariati

Reza Shariati is an Iranian former intelligence officer who was convicted of spying for Israel. He was arrested in 2010 while traveling in Iran. Shariati has been imprisoned in Iran for over a decade, where he has been subjected to harsh conditions and torture. Despite his imprisonment, Shariati has become a prominent voice for human rights in Iran. He has written extensively about his experiences and has spoken publicly about the need for reform in Iran. Shariati has also been a vocal critic of the Iranian government's human rights record. In 2020, Shariati was released from prison after serving over 10 years. He has since become a prominent advocate for human rights and democracy in Iran.
