Ria Irawan

Ria Irawan is a journalist and survivor of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. She was just 10 years old when the tsunami hit her hometown of Banda Aceh. Ria has written extensively about her experiences during and after the tsunami, and has become a vocal advocate for disaster relief and recovery efforts. She has also worked as a correspondent for several media outlets, including VOA Indonesia. Ria is known for her courage and resilience in the face of adversity, and has been recognized for her work with several awards, including the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Prize for the Right to Information.
