Ricardo Gareca is a Peruvian politician and sports manager. He served as the Minister of Tourism of Peru from 2011 to 2012 and was also the president of the Peruvian national football team from 2012 to 2016. Gareca has been involved in politics for many years and has been a member of the Peruvian Congress. He has also been a prominent figure in the Peruvian football federation.
