Richard Trenton Chase

Richard Trenton Chase, known as the Vampire of Sacramento, was an American serial killer. He was convicted of multiple counts of murder, rape, cannibalism, and necrophilia. He was born on November 23, 1946, in Sacramento, California. Chase was a self-proclaimed vampire who believed he was a descendant of the vampire Count Dracula. He was arrested in 1980 and was sentenced to death. He was executed by lethal injection in 1980.
