Rick Eckstein is a former MLB player and hitting coach. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, and Chicago Cubs from 1990 to 2001. Eckstein is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and has a degree in business. He is known for his expertise in hitting and his ability to develop players. Eckstein is currently the hitting coach for the Pirates.
