River Selby

River Selby is a wildland firefighter and author who has served as a hotshot in the US Forest Service. He has written extensively about his experiences as a firefighter and has spoken publicly about the challenges of fighting wildfires. Selby has also worked as a writer and editor, and has published articles and stories in various outlets. He is a graduate of the University of Montana and has a degree in environmental studies.
