Robert Bardo is an American convicted felon who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump in 2016. Bardo was born in 1971 and grew up in California. He became obsessed with Trump and began to stalk him, eventually attempting to shoot him at the Republican National Convention. Bardo was arrested and convicted of attempted murder and other charges. He is currently serving a life sentence in prison.
