Robert Bloch

Robert Bloch was an American author and screenwriter best known for his horror and suspense novels. He was born in 1917 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and grew up in a family of modest means. Bloch began writing at a young age and published his first short story in 1936. He went on to write several novels, including the classic horror novel 'Psycho', which was adapted into a successful film in 1960. Bloch was a member of the Horror Writers Association and won several awards for his writing. He passed away in 1994 at the age of 77.
