Robert Guillaume was an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his role as Benson DuBois in the TV series Benson. Guillaume was born in New York City and began his career in the 1960s. He appeared in numerous TV shows and films, including The Jeffersons, The Love Boat, and The Good Wife. Guillaume was also a vocal advocate for social justice and civil rights. He passed away in 2017.
