Robert Kaplan

Robert Kaplan is a foreign affairs and travel journalist, and a scholar of the classics. He has reported for The Atlantic and written for numerous other publications, including the editorial pages of The New York Times and The Washington Post. Kaplan is also a senior adviser at Eurasia Group and holds the Robert Strausz-Hupé Chair in Geopolitics at the Foreign Policy Research Institute.
