Robert Welch

Robert Welch was an American businessman and founder of the John Birch Society. He was a prominent figure in American conservatism and was known for his advocacy of limited government and individual freedom. Welch was a strong critic of communism and was a vocal opponent of the Soviet Union. He was also a vocal critic of the Federal Reserve and the Federal Government. Welch was a prolific writer and published several books on politics and economics. He was a charismatic leader and was able to build a large following among conservative Americans.
