Italian psychiatrist and founder of Psychosynthesis
Roberto Assagioli was an Italian psychiatrist and psychotherapist who developed the theory of Psychosynthesis. He was born in 1898 in Rome, Italy, and studied medicine at the University of Rome. Assagioli worked as a psychiatrist in various hospitals and clinics, and he developed his theory of Psychosynthesis as a way to integrate the principles of psychology and spirituality. He wrote several books on the subject, including 'The Psychology of Purpose in Life'. Assagioli passed away in 1978.
