Ron Rosano

Ron Rosano is a renowned astronomer and educator who has spent his career sharing the wonders of the universe with the public. Born in 1950 in New York City, Rosano developed an interest in astronomy at a young age and went on to earn his Ph.D. in astronomy from Harvard University. He is best known for his work on the design and construction of telescopes, including the famous John Dobson telescope. Rosano has also been involved in various space-related projects, including a stint as a NASA astronaut. He is currently a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
