Former police officer and FBI agent
Ron Stallworth is a former police officer and FBI agent, who in 1971 became the first African American to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan. He was recruited by the FBI to go undercover and gather intelligence on the Klan, and his experiences led to the arrest of several high-ranking members. Stallworth's story was later adapted into the film 'BlacKkKlansman', which was directed by Spike Lee and starred John David Washington. He has written a memoir about his experiences, 'Black Klansman: Growing Up White in a Field of Blackness', and has become a prominent speaker on issues of racism and social justice.
