Ron Tavris

Ron Tavris is a psychologist and author known for her work on social psychology and her books on critical thinking and skepticism. She has written extensively on topics such as confirmation bias, the Dunning-Kruger effect, and the psychology of persuasion. Tavris has also been a vocal critic of pseudoscience and has written about the dangers of misinformation. She is a professor emerita at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
