Rosalind Chao is an American actress and voice actress. She is best known for her roles in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Mulan. Born on September 23, 1955, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Chao began her acting career in the 1980s. She has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including The Joy Luck Club and Ally McBeal. Chao has been married to actor Peter Onorati since 1982.
