Ruquiya Sultan was a Mughal noblewoman and advisor to Emperor Shah Jahan. She was born in 1580 in Kabul, Afghanistan, and was the daughter of a prominent noble family. Ruquiya Sultan was known for her intelligence, courage, and strategic thinking, and played a key role in shaping the Mughal Empire's foreign policy. She was also a patron of the arts and education, and was instrumental in promoting the development of the Mughal Empire's cultural institutions. Ruquiya Sultan died in 1651 in Agra, India.
