Professor of Linguistics
Rusty Barrett is a Professor of Linguistics at the University of Kentucky. He is an expert in language acquisition, phonetics, and sociolinguistics. Barrett has published numerous papers on language and has taught courses on linguistics and language teaching. He is also a researcher in the University of Kentucky Phonetics Lab. Barrett has a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley. He is known for his work on language variation and change.
