Salah Ziad is a Palestinian politician. He has been involved in Palestinian politics for over two decades, and has served as a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council. Ziad has been a strong advocate for Palestinian rights, and has been involved in several peace negotiations with Israel. He is known for his moderate views, and has been accused of being too soft on Hamas. Ziad has a degree in law from the University of Palestine, and has been married to his wife since 1990.
