Samiha al-Khars is an Omani novelist and writer. She was born in 1950 in Muscat, Oman. Al-Khars studied literature at the University of Oxford and has published several novels and short stories. Her work often explores themes of Omani culture and history. Al-Khars has received several awards for her writing and has been recognized as one of the most important Omani writers of her generation.
