Samir Jaaja

Samir Jaaja is a Lebanese politician and military leader. He is the current president of the Lebanese Forces, a Christian militia. Jaaja was born in 1960 in Beirut, Lebanon. He studied at the American University of Beirut and later at the University of Paris. He joined the Lebanese Forces in 1976 and became its president in 2016. Jaaja is known for his conservative views and his role in Lebanese politics. He has been a member of the Lebanese parliament since 2016.
