Sarah Monette

Sarah Monette is a science fiction and fantasy author known for her work in the horror and dark fantasy genres. She has written numerous novels and short stories, including the Powder Mage trilogy and the Iron Codex series. Monette's writing often explores themes of power, identity, and the human condition. She is also a professor of English at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she teaches creative writing and literature. Monette is based in the United States.
