Saskia Coolen

Saskia Coolen is a Dutch musicologist and composer. She is a professor at the University of Utrecht and has written extensively on the history of Dutch music. She is also a musician and has performed with various ensembles. Coolen is known for her work on the music of the 17th century Dutch composer, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck. She has also composed her own music and has released several albums. Coolen is a member of the Camerata Trajectina, a Dutch early music ensemble.
