Scott Hales

Scott Hales is a church historian who has written several books on the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He joined the Church in 1996 and received his Ph.D. from Brigham Young University. Before becoming a historian, he served as a missionary in Mexico and worked as a software developer. Hales is also a professor at Brigham Young University and has taught numerous courses on church history. He is best known for his work on the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and his contributions to the publication of the Saints series.
