SecDef Hegseth
David Hegseth is an American politician and current United States Secretary of Defense. He was nominated by President Joe Biden and confirmed by the Senate in 2021. Hegseth served in the United States Army and later became a U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 6th congressional district. He was a candidate for the 2016 Republican presidential primary but withdrew before the Iowa caucuses.
