Seleukos I Nicator was a Macedonian Greek king and one of the most successful generals of Alexander the Great. He was a skilled diplomat and strategist who went on to found the Seleucid Empire. He was also known for his relationships with other notable figures of the time, including his son Antipater and his lover Stratonice. Seleukos I Nicator died in 281 BCE.
