Sen. Ted Cruz

Ted Cruz is an American politician serving as the junior United States Senator for Texas. He was born on December 22, 1970, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Cruz graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law School. He served as a Solicitor General of Texas and was a U.S. Representative for Texas's 32nd congressional district. Cruz ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 and was the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Texas in 2018. He is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School.
