Sergei Rachmaninov

Sergei Rachmaninov was a Russian composer and pianist of the late Romantic era. He is best known for his symphonies, piano concertos, and chamber music. Rachmaninov was a child prodigy and began composing at a young age. He was a member of the St. Petersburg Imperial School of Jurisprudence and later studied law, but eventually turned to music full-time. He is considered one of the most important Russian composers of the 20th century.
