Sergei Solovyev is a Russian politician and journalist. He is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia and has served as a deputy in the State Duma. Solovyev has also worked as a journalist for several Russian outlets, including the Russian newspaper Izvestia. He has been a vocal supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin and has been critical of Western sanctions on Russia.
