Sergey Khalifman

Sergey Khalifman is a Russian chess grandmaster and former world chess champion. Born in 1964, he became a grandmaster at the age of 18 and won numerous international tournaments. He was known for his aggressive playing style and ability to win games from seemingly lost positions. Khalifman was also a strong endgame player and was known for his ability to convert advantages into wins. He was the world chess champion from 1991 to 1993.
