Shay Gilgeous-Alexander is a Canadian professional basketball player who plays as a point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on May 12, 1998, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Gilgeous-Alexander played college basketball for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He was selected by the Thunder with the 11th overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft. He made his NBA debut in 2018 and has since become a key player for the Thunder.
