Islamic scholar and teacher
Shaykh Hamza Yusuf is an Islamic scholar and teacher who has spent his career exploring the intersection of Islam and the West. He is the founder of Zaytuna College, a leading institution for Islamic studies in the United States, and has taught at numerous universities and institutions, including the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, San Francisco. Yusuf has written several books on Islamic theology and spirituality, including "The Heritage of the Prophet Muhammad" and "The Spirit of Islam", and has given numerous lectures and workshops on topics such as Islamic law, theology, and spirituality. He is also a skilled debater and has engaged in numerous public debates on topics such as Islam and the West.
